My Journey to Offering Distance Healing
Coming to Distance Healing
wasn’t exactly a decision.
It was a course set in my life
very early on,
unbeknownst to me…
Then as life
progressed and expanded,
so did this unusual trajectory.
Again, unbeknownst to me.
I saw “laying on of hands”
as a young girl
in the bible belt of the midwest.
I remember thinking,
“This is what I will do one day.”
Then that thought left me
for a very long time.
Life took its twists and turns.
I felt “more”
as I got older.
I could feel
what others were experiencing
inside their own bodies.
I could feel their thoughts,
their pain, their emotions.
I knew my own
life’s turning points
before they occurred.
I could not understand,
so, I remained quiet
about all the mysteries.
I tried to ignore the world
that I could not see.
Life took its twists and turns.
I worked for an acupuncturist,
years ago,
before it was commonplace.
I watched him
perform profound healing
and use his hands
to work with energy…
to move what we could not see.
I then began to do body work
and would have my own
profound and unexplainable
experiences.
Life took its twists and turns.
I became pregnant
and lost my beloved man
from a deadly accident
when I was five months along.
Losing someone
while pregnant
is a surreal experience.
Carrying a life
from one that has passed on
is mind boggling.
Life took its twists and turns.
My son came into this world,
and his father came
back through the mists
as well…
on a different vibration.
My love was split
between the world I could see
in front of my eyes
and the dimensions
we do not see.
I could no longer
deny or ignore
what had been simmering
in me for so long.
Life took its twists and turns.
I became an acupuncturist.
Acupuncture is an
ancient energetic medicine.
I study Medical Qi Gong.
This cultivates my Qi
and increases
my sensitivities to energy.
I have many moments
in my treatments
that cannot be explained
with scientific perceptions.
I commonly have
tangible experiences
of an intangible world.
Life’s twists and turns
finally became comfortable.
I am my own biggest skeptic.
Distance healing seems odd,
even to me.
Weird.
Inconceivable.
But my “eyes” see
and my body “feels”
that which is
unperceivable
to many.
Again and again and again.
To me,
it is only a quickening
of the vibrations of existence.
We all know what it is
to enter a room
where someone is quietly angry
and we feel the discord.
We all know the heaviness
of a friend in grief.
And hopefully we all know
the unmeasurable pull of love.
It’s indescribable buoyancy.
What attracts us
to one thing, one person,
versus another?
This is all energy.
This is what we cannot see
but what we can “feel”,
what we instinctively “know”.
Extend this experience.
Feel it shine.
Be curious beyond your eyes.
This is distance healing to me.
It is natural.
It is unexplainable.
It is tangible to me.
I choose to share it with others.
Not because I
went looking for it,
but because it
came looking for me.
There is no other way I can be.
So, I embrace it.
I cultivate it.
I express it
to help others feel better.
It is potent.
And I don’t really know why.
It has helped people
in physical pain,
emotional pain,
and with stuck,
habitual patterns
they are trying to change.
I encourage you to try.
Come experience
how the energies
dance with you.
Explore yourself
beyond what has been
commonly taught.
Expand parts of you that
you didn’t know
could change
or feel better.
Bring more perspective into
your life’s twists and turns.
